Government is giving the subsidy to the Companies on hiring the Apprentices (interns) under National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)

 Some key features of the NATS/NAPS Scheme:

  1. Mandatory Implementation: Establishments with over 30 employees are required to implement NATS/NAPS, ensuring you meet regulatory standards.
  2. Apprenticeship Flexibility: You can hire apprentices comprising up to 15% of your total workforce, providing an efficient way to enhance your team.
  3. Varied Engagement Periods: Apprentices can be engaged for a minimum of 6 months and up to 36 months, allowing you to customize their experience based on your needs.
  4. Compliance Exemptions: Apprentices are exempt from PF, ESI, and PT compliance, reducing your administrative responsibilities.

Employers benefits :

  • Employers cost of PF and ESIC gets eliminated
  • Stipend : Employer receive reimbursement of partial stipend from Government upto Rs 90,000/- per candidate per annum
